A few short months back, PUMA announced its first official collaboration with rapper, J. Cole. The launch of the PUMA Dreamer proved to be quite successful, spawning new colourways over the months that followed. In addition, there was also the collaboration with Nintendo for the Super Mario colourway. To celebrate J. Cole’s latest studio album, Off-Season, the duo has once again joined forces for the release of the PUMA Dreamer 2.
The latest sneaker from the collab, the PUMA Dreamer 2 “Off-Season Red”, was inspired by the long-awaited album. The album itself was years in the making, with the sneaker being the perfect way in which to celebrate its release.
Featured in a fiery red and black colourways, the silhouette has a bold and contrasting aesthetic. The mid sneaker takes another step forward for Dreamer into the world of on-court performance, as well as off-court style.
It blends styles and elements from the RS sneaker range, which includes the RS-0, the RS-100 and the RS-X. The enhanced design also features PUMA’s signature ProFoam for the midsole. This technology provides greater rebound and energy return. To compliment this, the full coverage rubber outsole enhances the durability and traction for that on-court performance.
The PUMA Dreamer 2 “Off-Season Red” is available now at a retail price of R2,799.
It can be purchased online at PUMA.com, as well as in stores at PUMA Braamfontein, PUMA V&A Waterfront and Shesha outlets.
