PUMA has announced their partnership with music industry power player and Lola Media Group CEO Lola Plaku with a new sneaker, Nova GRL PWR. The sneaker is inspired by ’90s style influences and vibrant colour blocking.
Lola has also spearheaded numerous efforts and outreach to empower young women, which the GRL PWR collection pays tribute towards.
The Nova sneaker itself features a bold silhouette that includes a slim mesh upper, leather overlays and vibrant colourways, Black–Surf the Web and Peach Bud–Pearl Blush. The heel tab of the silhouette features the GRL PWR branding, along with a lace closure system.
The silhouette embraces the feminine side while still offering comfort and street style swag to compliment every girl’s lifestyle.
The PUMA Nova GRL PWR is set to drop on 1 February 2019, which will retail for R1,799 at PUMA SELECT, X-Trend, Archive, The Office, Superbalist and selected retailers across the country.
The collection marks the first between PUMA and Lola’s co-creative platform, with another collection set to drop in March later this year.
