The PUMA Nova has seen numerous successful drops in the recent past, the latest of which was the drop for the Pantone colourway. Kicking off Women’s Month with a bang, PUMA has introduced their latest adaptation of the silhouette, the PUMA Nova 2.
The design philosophy of the Nova 2 remains the same, taking a fresh approach on the upper, which sits atop a chunky sculpted midsole, with exaggerated tooling, all with a slim feminine shape. The look was inspired by the 90s PUMA running silhouette, with its mesh upper being complemented by a mix of suede and synthetic material overlays. This multi-material spin makes room for an exciting colour blocking, contrasted in three sections from the bottom to the top.
PUMA South Africa has partnered with brand ambassador Nomzamo Mbatha for the local launch as she sets the stage with a modern, on-trend kick with distinctive feminine aesthetics. She has challenged the design by changing up how the sneaker can be worn with anything, all the way to a ball gown.
The drop of the PUMA Nova 2 Wns encourages women to not just be a follower, but a trailblazer. The sneaker is set to drop tomorrow, 1 August 2019, and will retail for R1,399. It will be available at PUMA stores, Side Step, Superbalist and Office London.
