PUMA has once again partnered with brand ambassador, model and fashion icon, Winnie Harlow for another women’s drop. The latest collection takes its cues from the deepest seas for those in pursuit of making waves. This is the inspiration behind the PUMA Ocean Queen collection.
PUMA’s Ocean Queen embraces colours from the oceans, including bright aquamarine, yellow and soft pinks. This colourway is central to the collection. In addition to this, the apparel feature another centralised theme, mesh.
For the sneaker range, there are eight within the drop – four of which are arriving on the shores of South Africa. This includes styles straight from the PUMA archives. We have the Cruise Rider (R1,699), Oslo (R1,899), RS-Curve (R1,899) and Hedra (R1,999).
Central to the sneaker drop is the PUMA Cruise Rider Ocean Queen. The sneaker makes a splash with an open mesh base. Additionally, it features suede overlays, with a leather metallic Formstrip and silver detailing scattered across the upper.
Further to this, the Cruise Rider has a higher midsole with sculpted detailing. A TPU piece on the rear is partnered with the Rider Foam to provide the ultimate comfort.
When it comes to the apparel, the collection includes a Unitard (R749) and Mesh Dress (R699).
The Ocean Queen collection continues the positive work as part of PUMA’s She Moves Us campaign. The idea behind it is to highlight some of the top female brand ambassadors to honour women who have moved culture and sports across various segments. This platform is used to inspire other women across the globe. For additional details, visit the PUMA website.
The collection will be available from 30 April from PUMA.com, PUMA stores, sportscene mega stores, Superbalist and select retailers.
