PUMA has been known to push the boundaries of style and technology when it comes to its sneakers. This is visible in the Ferrari ION F Sneakers by PUMA as well as the PUMA X AkaBoku collection. The brand has continued this momentum with the release of the all-new PUMA OP-1 PWRFrame.

Bringing newness this season, the latest sneaker features an innovative design by fusing street style and vis-tech. This progressive design has a futuristic feel, adding flair to its current lineup.

Emphasising pure functionality through its minimalist approach, the PUMA PWRFrame features architectural structures as the base of its design inspiration. This creates a bold new look throughout the sneaker.

It the components of the shoe that defines its overall design and shape. It is a vision of a neo-cyber future through which Sci-fi meets modern function and style, for a science-fashion hybrid.

Focused on contemporary and clean design, the upper contrasts the various technical elements and processes. The low boot silhouette features a textile upper with suede overlays at the toe and eyestays. The eyestays also have a no-sew TPU underlay.

Additionally, it also includes a Lycra heel overlay, CMEVA midsole and rubber outsole. It has woven tongue webbing with a closed lace system. And, rounding of the intricacies, it features an embroidered Formstrip.

There are two colourways available for the PUMA PWRFrame: High Rise Vaporous Gray as well as a PUMA Black with Aged Silver. Featured on both colourways are the neon accents. Orange on the former and pink on the latter, which draws attention to the new tech.

This new supportive tech is featured from the heel to midfoot to provide optimal comfort. It connects the structure between specific points of the sneaker where stability is crucial.

The PUMA OP-1 PWRFrame is currently available on PUMA.com and retails for R2,999.

It will also be available in-store at PUMA Braamfontein and PUMA V&A Waterfront, X-Trend, Archive and select retailers.
