PUMA has once again teamed up with brand ambassador Abel Tesfaye, a.k.a. The Weeknd, for the latest XO drop this season. Following on from the successful launch of the first Parallel 2.0 drop earlier this year, the brand has released the a revised PUMA X XO collection, which was teased at Coachella last month.
The latest collection, “Crafted Renaissance”, features the all-new Pararrel 2.0 alongside a new apparel offering, which includes the PUMA x XO Bomber. The announcement of the drop features original Italian Renaissance Era style graphics courtesy of music video director, illustrator and designer Warren Fu.
The new Parallel 2.0 drop features a new construction with a smooth, high quality Italian nubuck completed with contrasting colour block white outsole, along with the classic PUMA Formstripe. The updated Parallel redefines casual boots, and continues the sleek, yet contemporary design with a military influence. The look is completed with a stacked gum midsole with unique sculpting at the heel and features a contrasting white Formstrip.
The updated PUMA X XO Parellel 2.0 is set to drop on 7 June 2018 at a cost of R2,999. The boots will be available at PUMA Select, this includes Rosebank, Sandton, Gateway, V&A Waterfront as well as X-Trend stores.
