This Women’s month, PUMA is releasing a number of collections to celebrate bold, strong women across the world. Having already released the Motorsport-inspired collection last week, solely for women, the team have released another collection to celebrate Women’s Day this past weekend. The all-new Pretty Pink Collection is bold, bright and confident, and features a mix of women’s sneakers, apparel and accessories with an iridescent flair.
The collection features an all-over pink-on-pink colourway with disruptive designs across several of the most popular women’s sneakers from PUMA. Each of these has been boldly reimagined for this collection. The collection’s features include hot pink, high gloss synthetic uppers and midsoles with fluffy textile accents across each pair. The collection includes:
-
PUMA Cali Wedge – R1,699
PUMA Deva – R1,699
PUMA RS-X3 – R1,999
PUMA Rise – R1,699
PUMA Future Rider – R1,599
The PUMA Cali Wedge stays true to its extreme wedge sole with the PUMA RS-X3 features a thrice-exaggerated form, being stripped down to its very basics and then reimagined in a new mix of materials in an all-over hot pink take. The PUMA Deva is inspired by the rebellious punk attitude with its style emphasised by the chunky, oversized silhouette, seen in Tokyo. The newly redesigned sneaker features a new look with two distinct designs in one – the top being a sneaker with line tooling while the sole was inspired by high fashion.
The PUMA Rise was inspired by clouds, with its soft, opulent lines and comfortable construction. Originally crafted in 1980, the Fast Rider is the showpiece of running moving from the track to the street. The sneaker features a comfortable fit with simplistic design elements and shock-absorbing, PUMA ‘Federbein’ outsole.
To round off PUMA’s Pretty Pink collection is a mixture of apparel and accessories. These include the Evide Woven Track Jacket (R1,499) and Track Pants (R1,299) with its water repellent fabric and a hot pink colourway with white accents. The accessories include a hot pink Prime Time Drawstring Backpack (R799) and Prime Time Backpack (R999).
The PUMA Pretty Pink collection will be available at PUMA.com, PUMA Stores, The Cross Trainer, sportscene and Superbalist from this past weekend.
With most of the collection already having launched, the Pretty Pink Rise and Future Rider will be dropping later in the month of August.
