PUMA has kicked off 2020 where they left off, by dropping a fresh collaboration in partnership with Chinese fashion label Randomevent. The daring streetwear collection combines urban and street styles with rich colours and graphics in the most unexpected of places. The duo have dropped two new sneakers in South Africa as part of the PUMA x Randomevent collection.
Randomevent started off in 2012 by a group of fashion enthusiasts who wanted to influence the lives of its consumers with the single focus that clothes are all about the attitude. PUMA has partnered with the team for a collection of sneakers and apparel.
The first to feature is the PUMA CELL Alien Randomevent, which includes unique detailing across the silhouette. From the yellow PUMA Formstrip with a print and special labels highlighting the collection statement: “make things worse but cool. The sneaker will retail for R2,399. The second silhouette is the reimagined PUMA Alteration Randomevent in a White Asparagus and Puma Black colourway. The silhouette features a more clean look, but also features a special tag on the side panel with the same “make things worse but cool” text.
In terms of the apparel, the collection features the AOP Windbreaker (R1,999), the Bomber Jacket (R2,899) and the Bucket Hat (R399).
The PUMA x Randomevent collection will be available at PUMA Select and PUMA online from 11 January 2020. Various items from the range will also be available from X-Trend, Madaiza, Hipkicks, Archive and various retailers across the country.
