Rihanna has been busy of late in the second half of 2017. From a successful launch of her makeup brand, along with successful runway shows, she continues her partnership going strong with Puma for the release of three new additions to the Fenty sneaker range. Having been presented in front of an adoring audience in Paris, the sneakers arrive just in time for the Festive Season, and includes the Fenty Trainer Hi, Fenty Trainer Mid, as well as the Chelsea Sneaker Boot.
Continuing the trend of high fashion meeting sportswear, the Trainer Hi features an athletic sport stripe detailing on the knee-high sock collar, staying true to Puma’s sports heritage. The Trainer Mid provides a more versatile shoe, which works great with any outfit, and also featuring a fully-knitted sock construction combined with the easy-to-wear style of a mid-cut trainer. The Mid’s look is finished off with a lace-up construction and detachable branded ankle collar. Both silhouettes have an aggressive, sculptured tooling, which features Puma‘s Ignite technology in the midsole. Drawing on inspiration from iconic Creeper, the outsole on the Mid and Hi provide extra comfort and added support, combined with a newly refreshed look.
The Chelsea Sneaker Boot continues an already impressive Puma range of boots, providing a bold new update to the classic Creeper platform. The Boot features 100% leather Chelsea upper, which is available in two contrasting colours, demanding attention whether your feet may take you. The Puma formstripe design is presented on the medial and lateral side, with the Puma and Fentry branding on the heel, footbed and outsole.
The Fenty Trainer Hi will be available at a price of R3,699 with the Fenty Trainer Mid at R2,599, with both available at Puma Select in Cape Town, Puma Braamfontein, as well as Puma Sandton and X-Trend Stores. The Chelsea Sneaker Boot will retail for R5,999, which will be available at most of the same stores.
