Over the past two years, PUMA has dropped multiple collections as part of the RS sneaker range. With its latest drop, the range has been extended yet again, this time including the PUMA RS-Fast collection.
The PUMA RS-Fast sneaker features a bold and colourful aesthetic for the RS range. The sneakers were designed for the future generation of sneakerheads. Those not afraid to of bold and daring styling to match their colourful garments.
While the original silhouette was created in the 80s, the RS-Fast takes its design and colour cues from the early 2000s, while at the same time blending modern elements.
The 80s roots are evident in the PUMA RS-Fast thanks to the Running System cushioning technology. The technology was first introduced in the 80s and reinvented for the modern wearer with style and technology.
The RS-Fast maintains the original’s bulky sneaker design, easily recognisable across the RS range of sneakers.
The upper features a bold design, evident through its branding and highly visible graphics throughout. It is crafted from a mix of mesh and textile material elements, including suede and synthetic overlays.
The classic PUMA Formstrip has been minimised and fitted to the midsole instead of the upper. The leaping cat logo has been added to the lateral sides instead. The midsole has been updated with pods and a new TPU heel for good measure.
Run and grab a pair of the PUMA RS-Fast now. The sneaker retails at R1,999 and is available online at PUMA.com, as well as in stores at The Cross Trainer, Side Step, Shesha, Archive online and various retailers across the country.
