PUMA keeps the momentum going strong with the RS chronicles as the PUMA RS-X continues to prove its popularity after having seen successful launches recently with the RS-X Toys and RS-X Hot Wheels collections. PUMA South Africa partnered with South African rapper, songwriter and record producer Nasty C for the local launch of the PUMA RS-X Trophies.
The latest iteration of the silhouette celebrates the extreme reinvention of fame in the era of social media and reality television. The RS-X Trophies is built upon the RS technology in the midsole, with the bulky shoe featuring a mix of mesh and textile on the upper, which has been stylishly finished with leather overlays. The shoe is made to stand out in ‘PUMA Team Gold’ accents along the quarter panels over the basic, ‘PUMA Black’ colourway. The rest of the upper features a textile heel and moulded sockliner with RS branding throughout. To complete the look, the silhouette also features tonal laces and includes a lightweight rubber outsole. The silhouette will also be available in two additional colourways, PUMA White-Bronze and Steel-Grey Dark Shadow.
The PUMA RS-X Trophies range is set to drop on 1 February 2019 and will retail for R1,999. The silhouette will be available at PUMA stores, Sportscene, X-Trend, Side Step, Superbalist, Jack Lemkus and selected retailers.
