Today, PUMA celebrates its heritage by honouring its founder, Rudolf Dassler. The Rudolf Dassler Legacy pack has been dropped, paying homage to the iconic PUMA Formstrip.
PUMA has reached back all the way to 1958 when the Formstrip was first brought to life. In its early days, the Formstrip was intended as a foot support feature, but it quickly became one of its most recognisable symbols in the sports industry.
Featuring the classics of yesterday that continue to remain the classics of today and tomorrow. This is the celebration of the Rudolf Dassler Legacy collection.
The latest drop features some of the most iconic sneakers from the PUMA archives. This includes the Rudolf Dassler Legacy Suede (R1,999), Mirage (R2,699) and Ralph Sampson Mid (R2,999).
Each of the silhouettes in the series features a mix of premium materials. This includes dynamic piping, along with vintage logos for a timeless look and feel. The premium materials are made to last, extending the brand’s rich quality across its range.
With yellow and blue pops of colour, which was inspired by the initial Formstrip print campaign. It was run throughout and metal trinket in the shape of the Formstrip. As a result, this has been included on all the footwear and apparel items in the collection.
From the range of apparel, the pack includes a T7 Track Top (R2 299), Graphic Tees (R999), T7 Track Pant, as well as the Cap (R399). Each of these items have the vintage Formstrip ads printed on them.
The Rudolf Dassler Legacy collection is available now on PUMA.com. This includes PUMA Select stores, Hipkicks, WE ARE EGG, Madaiza, as well as selected retailers.
