PUMA’s Thunder range has been selling out since it first launched in June this year. The design team has been continually pushing for updates and colourways. The range features three silhouettes in the Thunder Electric (the OG), Thunder Desert and Thunder Spectra. It’s the latter that today receives the update treatment with all-new colourways.
The two new colourways for the Thunder Spectra for Men, includes the Drizzle/Steel Grey and Rhododendron/PUMA Black/Tawny Port, tying in with the current Fall season in the northern hemisphere. While the original Spectra silhouette featured bold and retro colours with neon pops to make a statement, the latest colourways are more subtle and precise. The design has been slightly updated with protective side walls, midfoot stabiliser and internal lace woven system. The materials have also been updated with a mix of mesh, suede and leather overlays, the perfect fit for the bold and tonal look. In terms of the hidden technologies within the silhouette, it is inspired by the 90s Cell System for running, adding support to the reimagined pair of kicks with a bulky, unapologetic look and feel.
The new colourways for the PUMA Thunder Spectra is available from today at a retail price of R2,299, and available at PUMA Select stores, X-Trend, Superbalist and Archive stores countrywide.
