PUMA Drops PUMA x Atelier New Regime Collection

As I’ve mentioned on numerous occasions previously, sneaker collaborations are the hype right now. And that’s not a bad thing. Often times, it’s just brilliant. And that’s exactly the case with the latest collaboration for the PUMA x Atelier New Regime collection.

This latest collaboration ups the streetstyle game this season with the duo’s debut collection. Atelier New Regime, a streetwear label from Montreal, began as a passion project and outlet for self-expression in 2009. The company’s love for art, design, photography, as well as street culture, turned the brand into a collective of creators.

The PUMA x ANR collection explores modern designs, influenced by Fresh-English ethnicities of Montreal, birthing this motorsport-inspired collection, which was adapted into streetwear-ready styles. The designs are all complete with ANR’s signature polished aesthetics, featuring a bright orange colourway.

The debut collection features a mix of silhouettes, which include the Basket Boot, Tsugi Jun, Court Platform and Suede, all reimagined with the designs and colour-blocking inspired by ANR’s street culture styles. The base of each silhouette remains true to its original, but is characterised with rugged outsoles, reflective pullers, as well as large rubberised logos, blending technical detailing of sports with street-ready designs.

The main silhouette from the ANR range is the Basket Boot ANR, which has been built with a tonal neoprene upper, a waterproof branded zipper on the forefoot, and a rugged outsole. The silhouette will drop in Scarlet Ibis and PUMA Black colourways as part of the collection.

The PUMA x Atelier New Regime collection is set to drop on 6 October 2018, and will be available at PUMA Select stores, X-Trend, as well as online at Superbalist and Madaiza. The Basket Boot ANR will retail for R1,799.
