The Suede 50 campaign shows no sign of slowing down, extending to yet another collaboration, this time born on the streets. PUMA has teamed up with the renowned street artist, Bradley Theodore, for the latest collaboration of striking colour and texture in the form of the PUMA X Bradley Theodore collection.

Theodore makes the world his canvas, and has carved out a name for himself on the street art scene, bringing to life a true reflection of the energy and passion he brings to his art. He is best known for painting vibrant skeletal renditions of pop culture icons such as Muhammad Ali and Karl Lagerfeld. His art is not bound by museums and walls, but made easily accessible to everyone on the streets of New York. His art features soulful and introspective styles, which he brings to the Suede’s 50th anniversary. The PUMA x Bradley Theodore collection features timeless strokes of colour that put his art into perspective.

The new Suede has a plush black upper, which is covered in hand-painted Pantone stains of vibrant blues, reds and pinks to contrast against the black. The pattern artwork extends to the different elements of the silhouette, from the laces, midsole and translucent outsole. The design is finished off with a tiny, radiant skull on the heel of each shoe, a nod to the exploration of humanity. As with the collaborations of the Suede 50 that have gone before, the look is finished off with Theodore’s signature on the lateral side.

The PUMA X Bradley Theodore collection is set to drop this week, 8 September 2018, and will be available at PUMA Select stores, with the apparel available at X-Trend stores across the country.
