Puma continues to strengthen its lineup for the AW17 collection with the introduction of the Puma X Han Kjøbenhavn collaboration, which sees the team join forces with danish design duo, Han Kjøbenhavn.

The latest collaboration focuses on simplicity and functionality, which is inspired by Copenhagen’s local sports and suburban architecture. Founders of Han Kjøbenhavn, Jannik Davidson and Tim Hancock, created the Puma X Han Kjøbenhavn collection in sophisticated Scandinavian style, where the unexpected is everything. The collection features a range of footwear, apparel and accessories, which makes use of unexpected material mixes, which include rayon, jersey and twill.
Puma X Han Kjøbenhavn tapped into Puma’s archive along with some of the latest offerings of the season, fusing sport and fashion, providing options for both men and women. Included in yet another collaboration is the Clyde, straight from Puma’s archive, which has been interpreted in the Puma X Han Kjøbenhavn Clyde Stitched, where the classic silhouette meets a premium leather upper with stitched tooling, representing a truly Scandinavian style. The Tsugi Kori makes its second appearance, which features a futuristic style and luxurious material with muted tones as part of the collaboration. The upper is made up of a mixture of plush suede and leather, combined with an elongated, knitted sock-like ankle collar. The collection is rounded off with the inclusion of the Blaze Cage, and B.O.G. Sock SNKB.
The pricing of the footwear collection for the Puma X Han Kjøbenhavn collab includes the Blaze Cage at R2,499, Tsugi Kori Han at R2,799, Clyde Stitched at R2,499, B.O.G Sock SNKB at R2,799, and the Tsugi Kori at R2,799. The sneakers have already been released and are available at Puma Select, X-Trend, Shelflife, Anatomy, Cop Capital and Madaiza.
