PUMA has been partnering with distinguished European designers for quite some time now. With collaborations with the likes of Han Kjøbenhavn, The Kooples and, most recently, Les Benjamins, PUMA has a solid lineup of European designers with great collections on offer. For its latest drop, PUMA has partnered with Jannik Wikkelsø Davidsen, one of the great visionaries of European streetwear and founder of Han Kjøbenhavn.

Jannik Wikkelsø Davidsen is well-known in the industry for his unique design sensibilities, which break the standards and conventional street styles. With the collaboration with PUMA, he draws inspiration from his personal experience growing up in Copenhagen, with the theme “From the Outskirts.” Davidsen and PUMA drop the new Alteration silhouette, reflecting the down to earth nature of the suburbs of Denmark, with a minimalist aesthetic.

The silhouette fuses its design with post-apocalyptic references. The Alteration PN-1 features a futuristic, bulky design, mixing neutrals with neon. The upper has a simplistic expression and structure, along with a mix of overlays to push the boundaries of modern design.

The PUMA X Jannik Wikkelsø Davidsen will feature two colourways from the pack, in bold Celery-Limelight, which is already available in store, as well as the Gray Violet colourway, which is set to drop on 15 April 2019. Both silhouettes will be available at PUMA Select and X-Trend, with the first also being available at Archive and the second at Superbalist. Both will retail for R2,199
