PUMA has been pushing the envelope across its range in recent months. The brand has created a number of high-fashion collections since its return to the New York Fashion Week in 2022. KOCHÉ is a Paris-based fashion house, with founder, Christelle Kocher, being a Central Saint Martins graduate. As such, the brand has quickly become a mainstay in the fashion industry. For its latest release with PUMA, the duo celebrate women where fashion and fitness meet.
Drawing on the influence of traditional French design craft, KOCHÉ is well known for its unique DNA. Its fashion blends traditional work with modern representation, which fosters gender, body, shape, and social and geographical diversity. The brand has previously partnered with PUMA for its rework of the AC Milan football kit in 2022.

Continuing in this vein, the PUMA x KOCHÉ collection features a variety of couture pieces, including footwear, apparel and accessories for women. There are two sneakers that form part of the collection. However, only one of these will make it onto South African shoes. The PWR XX NITRO sneakers were designed for movers and shakers.
It’s a running shoe that has been engineered for a women’s fit, with reduced weight for those lengthy workouts or running sessions. It does, however, feature the same NITRO midsole from the running range. As a result, it delivers next-level cushioning and energy return.

Further to this, its apparel range also extends the lightweight and comfortable theme. It was designed to be movement-friendly. There are 15 different pieces from the collection, which focus on body-shaping and are made from recycled fabrics. Rounding off the look is its neo-futuristic palette combines sophisticated shades of black, burgundy, royal blue and cream, as well as colour-shifting reflective treatments.
