A few months back, PUMA and Les Benjamins joined forces for their first collaboration. The duo has continued their textured approach to their design elements with the second collaboration from the PUMA x Les Benjamins collaboration, this time for a hiking-inspired collection.
Having been founded by Bunyamin Aydin, the Istanbul-based design brand has established itself as a leading streetwear brand by merging cultural heritage with contemporary design and rich textures. The latest collection features rugged outdoor elements along with intricate and technical detailing to embody and encourage exploration. The styles from the collection are infused with PUMA‘s rich sporting heritage and Les Benjamins’ versatile influences. A collection aimed to explore, whether traversing through rough nature or simply strolling the big city streets.
The collection features the reworking of the two PUMA classics, which are featured in new colourways. The first, the PUMA Cell Alien, includes a white and black colourway with neon details and a vibrant blue formstrip, which is adorned with an embroidered logo on the back. The silhouette also features a black coloured mesh tongue and textile webbing to complete the aesthetic.
The second sneaker in the collection is the PUMA Storm, another from the archives. The Storm features a translucent formstrip to reveal the printed underlay, along with special lacing construction and reflective finish. The tongue features a moulded rubber patch on the tongue with the midsole receiving a special treatment to create an aged look.
In addition to the new sneakers within the collection, the range has been extended with themed apparel, which includes carpet inspired prints. The look is extended onto the PUMA x Les Benjamins Track Top and Track Pants.
Whether you’re hitting the rugged outdoors or a stroll down the busy streets, the PUMA x Les Benjamins collection drops this week at PUMA Select stores, HipKicks and selected retailers across the country.
