Sports brand PUMA has announced their partnership with the renowned luxury fashion house MCM for the drop of the PUMA X MCM range. Their milestone collaboration was presented at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York City and formed as part of the PUMA Suede’s 50th anniversary.
During an exclusive event, which features hip-hop OG Big Daddy Kane along with today’s freshest DJ acts Rhapsody and 9th Wonder, they all rocked the collection at a performance that brought the house down in New York City – an event which features industry tastemakers, the Tribeca festival crowd, fashion and lifestyle press and influencers. The celebrations rang true to the Suede’s cultural significance from pop, street, fashion and music. The sneaker has an upper constructed of elegant, durable Visetos canvas with the tongue featuring a gleaming, jewellery-polished brass plate bearing the MCM logo and a unique registration number.
The PUMA X MCM range has officially dropped and will be available exclusively at the PUMA SELECT store in Braamfontein and X-Trend Sandton store. The Suede Classic x MCM retails for R2,999 and will be available in two colourways: classic cognac and white. The other range of items include the PUMA x MCM classic PUMA T7 Track Jacket (R2,599) and Pants (R2,199) in classic cognac.
