PUMA has been dropping numerous collaborations of late, which includes, most recently, the PUMA X MCM and numerous others from the RS-0 collection. Extending their list of partners, PUMA has teamed up with up-and-coming Russian fashion brand, Outlaw Moscow – a.k.a AYTΛO – for the latest PUMA X Outlaw Moscow collection.
The range takes us from the streets of the Russian capital with the designer duo Maxim Bashkaev and Dilyara Minrakhmanova behind the Outlaw Moscow brand. The debut collection between the two fashion companies is a fusion of streetwear and high-end fashion, something that PUMA has pushed towards with many of the collaborations.
The grime mixed with luxury collection celebrates the festive and rich Russian culture from the heart of Moscow, bringing the cities fashion to the world from the FIFA 2018 Russian World Cup. The drop features a mix of sneakers as well as apparel.
The range includes numerous design elements inspired by distinctive Russian design elements, which includes ancient Eurasian Cyrillic script, floral prints, embroidery, bright colour blocking and unexpected material combinations.
The highlight of the drop comes in the form of the Avid Zip Graphic O. Moscow, a black colourway with an elevated mid-cut boot silhouette, with a woven jacquard upper featuring traditional Russian art. The shoe is completed with a large rubberised zipper on the forefoot.
The first drop is set to drop on 14 July 2018 with pricing to be revealed closer to the launch. The collection will be available at PUMA SELECT stores, X-Trend and Superbalist. The additional apparel will available at Madaiza and Anatomy online.
Pricing for products from the range are as follows:
- Te-Ku O.MOSCOW (both) – R3,299
- Avid Zip O.MOSCOW – R2,299
- Avid Zip Graphic O.MOSCOW – R2,999
