Two months back, Puma announced their first partnership with New York City streetwear company, Staple Design. The latest collaboration on the Puma X Staple collection, in the form of the Puma Ntrvl, is the second this season ahead of the Spring/Summer 17 campaign.
As was the case in the first collaboration, the partnership once again reworks and reimagines iconic silhouettes, the Clyde, alongside the Ignite evoKnit, B.O.G. Sock, and Ignite Limitless. The collection features classic tailoring and performance materials, resulting in a slick and street-worth ensemble. Each of the different silhouettes has a split coloured upper with opposite color-blocking applied to the medial and lateral sides.
Being adapted to each activity during your day with multifunctional pieces made of durable materials, the Puma X Staples add a unique design flavour, using touches of pink, along with Jeff Staple’s iconic pigeon grey colour scheme. The range of sneakers is available at Puma Select Bree Street, Cape Town and Braamfontein, Johannesburg, Anatomy, Shelflife, X-Trend Stores and Cop Capital, along with selected retailers nationwide. The retail pricing for each are as follows: IGNITE evoKNIT – R2,999, IGNITE 3 – R2,499, Limitless – R2,799 as well as sports-inspired classics, the PUMA Clyde – R2,499 and BOG Sock – R2,299.
