All about bringing new and fresh ideas to the fold, PUMA continue their extension of strategic allegiances to deliver new aesthetics with a fun collection – the PUMA X TYAKASHA collection. The collection features a lineup of classic silhouettes, with a new twist.
TYAKASHA is a Shanghai-based fashion house taking the world by storm and known for their versatile pieces featuring lively, raw and experimental designs. It is this fun approach to their designs that fostered their partnership with PUMA, delivering a fresh, street-ready style and a quirky supermarket-themed collection, the PUMA X TYAKASHA collection showcases how effortless it is to dress without a rulebook. The theme, titled Food Life, sees a play on ice cream waffles and snack menus, along with sausages and dumplings, among others, for an East meets West concept.
The collection features two classic sneakers in the Clyde Graphic TYAKASHA and Clyde TYAKASHA for a fresh look. The silhouettes present playful, food-inspired pigment prints, and leather materials. The collection also includes a set of apparel to tie in with the range, which features creatively styled with fun foodie characters like doodles of pizza and snacks in bold colours of red, orange and black.
The PUMA x TYAKASHA collection is set to drop on 28 September 2018 and will be available at PUMA Select stores across the country. The unisex Clyde Graphic TYAKASHA will be available at a retail price of R2,299.
