The trend of classic sneakers continues as Reebok reaches into its 80s archives for the revival of the Reebok Club C silhouette. The reintroduction reshapes the culture of its iconic past.
The original Club C sneaker was first introduced in 1985 as part of a range of fur tennis shoes, which included the Revenge Plus, Monterey, Club Champion, as well as the Club Classic. It is the two latter silhouettes that form the basis of the modern Club C silhouette. The original range, having been available only in men’s sizes, had a relatively short lifespan as a result.
The Club C features a die-cut EVA midsole, providing a lightweight layer absorbing stride impact. In conjunction with the high abrasion rubber outsole makes for the ultimate in traction both on and off the court. The upper features a vintage look and feel with soft leather materials overlayed on the upper, offering superior quality and support. The upper is rounded off with the classic Reebok window box logo to provide a casual yet sophisticated style trend.
The Reebok Club C is available at Reebok stores, online at reebok.co.za, as well as various retailers across the country.
