Having dropped their first collaboration in July, Puma has once again partnered with graphic artist Naturel for their second Puma X Naturel collection.
Puma continues its growing collection of fresh looks, partnering with creative talent, once again with Naturel, a US-based graphic artist, to debut as part of the Fall/Winter ’17 range. Naturel, well known for his charismatic approach to street cool, has made a name for himself in the upper echelon of streetwear design. Known for his symbolism-heavy illustrations, street conscious assertions on Neo-Cubist styles, Naturel draws inspiration from sports, fashion, music, and even his own art.
The first collection featured the theme that men are from Mars and women are from Venus, which continues into the second drop. The aim is to create silhouettes that are out of this world, from a galaxy where norm is thrown out the window, which also includes apparel and various accessories. Inspired by space travel, this time an urban landscape on the moon, the sneakers feature some military detailing as well. The theme is extended to two of Puma‘s most iconic sneakers, the Suede and Clyde, making them street-wearable art. The full range includes the following footwear:
- Clyde FSHN NATUREL – R2,499
- Clyde FSHN Mid NATUREL – R2,699
- Platform Cheetah Wns – R2,199
- Platform FSHN Wns – R2,499
After the success of their first launch in July, the second Puma X Naturel drop was released on the 13th October 2017, and is currently available at Puma Select, X-Trend, Madaiza and various other selected retailers.
