Everyone’s latest favourite neighbourhood Spider-Man, Miles Morales, has been getting much attention lately since his latest movie Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, was met with roaring success and praise. Thanks to the partnership between Sony Pictures and Nike, we have also seen sneakers hitting shelves and media inspired by the epic character.

So far, some official sneakers that have hit shelves include one for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and one for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, each a pair of Air Jordan 1 sneaker made for Miles. Another pair that unfortunately didn’t hit shelves was a pair of Nike Air Jordan Utility Stash sneakers for the Prowler that were released for friends and family at Jordan Brand and Sony Pictures.
Now that we know Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse is on the way, the internet is going wild wondering what pair of sneakers we might see next, and some content creators have been putting forward their own suggestions, like @glitchedgarbage‘s exquisite range of Nike SB Dunk Low sneakers for the Spider-Verse.

More Spider-Verse Sneakers

@glitchedgarbage’s ever-expanding concept collection for Spider-Verse sneakers is joined by their latest rendition of a pair of Nike SB Dunk Low Sneakers for Miles Morales.
Seemingly taking inspiration from the original simple black, white, and red Air Jordan 1 sneaker for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and scaling back the design to a more straightforward look, these sneakers, as always, have a hidden secret.
Red is represented on the inner lining, the heel and the toe box, which has a design on the top which is a little hard to make out with the provided angle. Still, a closer look reveals that it is the spider logo that we have all come to know and love.
The upper is a white base of what looks like canvas. At the same time, the rest of the sneaker has black panelling and a black Swoosh decorated with red decorative stitching.
The black panelling has a barely visible web design on the lateral side, with a white spider hanging off of the Swoosh logo and a pair of eyes from Miles’ mask.
The slightly off-white colour of the midsole is complemented by the same colour laces. At the same time, the outsole is a standard icy blue translucent rubber.

As usual, the sneakers come to life in the dark (presumably under a black light).

Suddenly, the web design that was barely visible in normal light is lit up, as well as the tip of the tongue, which looked like a typical grey, two eyelets for the lace stays, and even the eyes of Miles’ mask.
The post does not provide much detail, so it’s hard to say if these might glow in the dark, under a black light, or are merely reflective. Still, they are an excellent addition to the design of the sneakers.
Stay tuned to see what else the artists at @glitchedgarbage come up with to add to the Spider-Verse sneaker collection.
