As the year draws to a close on the 50th-anniversary celebrations of the Suede, PUMA continues to keep the fire burning with another drop from the Suede 50 campaign. Two icons meet when the company partnered with Pepsi® to announce a new collaboration for the PUMA x Pepsi capsule.
Pop culture’s iconic cola, Pepsi’s origins date back to the late 1800s, celebrating more than 120 years of influencing culture, as they join the #ForAllTime movement with the Suede. The brand has been linked to all genres including pop, music and culture, along with key sponsorships with top athletes over the years and around the globe.
In the same light, PUMA‘s Suede has also been a huge influence, especially in sport and street culture. The PUMA x Pepsi collection is a celebration of two influential giants, where a timeless classic meets contemporary cool. The collection features two new colourways in Clean Blue-Puma Silver and Puma Black-Puma Silver. The velvet suede uppers prominently feature the classic Pepsi-Cola script logo in white and blue, overlapping a tone-on-tone PUMA Formstrip. The Pepsi logo is debossed in silver on the heel, with additional PUMA and Pepsi branding stitched on the tongue.
The iconic Suede 50 PUMA x PEPSI collection is set to drop in November, and will be available in Archive stores in Braamfontein (Johannesburg) and Shortmarket Street (Cape Town). Pricing will be made available closer to the release date, so stay tuned.
In addition to the two Suede colourways, the collection also features a pair of pants, tee and hoodie. You can view those items here.
