2018 marks the 50th anniversary of the PUMA Suede sneaker, which PUMA has been celebrating with unique and limited edition Suede sneakers since late last year. The sneaker celebrations have come in the way of many collaborations and new silhouettes. For the latest drop from the Suede 50 campaign, PUMA has teamed up with pioneer of LA streetwear culture, XLARGE®, for the release of the PUMA X XLARGE collection.
Continuing with the theme of street culture, which is synonymous with the Suede brand, the latest drop takes to the street of LA. The Suede 50 XLARGE® features a Kelly Green Formstrip, standing out from the coal black suede upper, which also features a water repellent finish, and perforations dotted throughout. The silhouette also features the signature chunky white, rubber sole, as well as a padded collar for cushioning. The XLARGE® gorilla motif appears on the shoe’s tongue in gold embroidery, with and also with the optional pair of XLARGE gold-branded laces.
The latest Suede 50, PUMA X XLARGE® Suede 50, is dropping for R2,299 on 28 June 2018, and will be available at PUMA SELECT, X-Trend and Jack Lemkus stores.
