Nike and the Jumpman brand have been killing the game, reinventing and reimagining their silhouettes with releases like the “Reimagined” series. Still, the collection’s star is the beautiful family of “Craft” silhouettes, mainly the upcoming Air Jordan 3 Craft “Ivory” colourway.

The first time the world saw these beautiful neutral sneakers was on the 16th of October when @masterchefian shared the “WORLDS FIRST LOOK IN HAND” of the stunning pair on X(Twitter). Since then, official retailer images have been released for a high-definition look at the sneakers.
The Air Jordan 3 Craft “Ivory” silhouette is blinding in its brilliance, lacking colour throughout most of the construction and opting for whites and neutrals throughout the sneakers. While the colour palette might not be the most interesting, the silhouette makes up for it with the elements included in the technical construction.

Translucent cream decorates the outsole, the heel tab, and the lace before transitioning between a stark white and a neutral but light grey that covers all the upper accents, leaving most of the construction blanketed in white. Of course, the typical Air Jordan 3 clear window into the air unit in the heel remains intact.

If you are anything like me and you want to take a deep look at what is different on the Air Jordan 3 Craft “Ivory” compared to the average pair of Air Jordan 3 sneakers, let me save you whipping out your magnifying glass, because the subtle but effective change is the inclusion of smooth leather and suede in the construction.
Smooth leather replaces tumbled leather for a stunning finish, and light grey suede appears on overlays beneath the usual light elephant print leather overlays on the mudguard and the heel and surrounding the lace stays. Adding suede to any sneakers instantly gives it a lifestyle feel and elevates the silhouette.

Another addition to the Craft version of the AJ3 is the modified back tab, which now includes a translucent fixture that matches the colour of the outsole, and the lace stays and overlays the NIKE branding and Swoosh with a raised Jumpman and AIR typography, adding an extra layer of intrigue to the sneakers.

If you have already fallen in love with these sneakers, the good news is that we might have a short time to see them. The prospective release date shared by sources like Sneaker News is the 2nd of March 2024, so there are only a few short months before you can get your hands on this stunning neutral silhouette.
I look forward to grabbing these sneakers from the Nike SNKRS app/site and selecting retailers in your area for an expected price of $210. Stay tuned for more info regarding sizing and if anything changes regarding the price and release date.
