Nike Air Zoom Generation “Wolf Grey”
While everyone has been excited about the “First Game” Nike Air Zoom Generation that is slated to return soon, a sleeper hit was added to the backend of Nike’s website and was lying in wait for its official announcement. Luckily, we didn’t have to wait very long because the Nike Air Zoom Generation “Wolf Grey” has officially been added to the website and is expected to release in less than a month.
This unique pair of Nike Air Zoom Generation sneakers has maintained the usual design that the sneakers are known for but has replaced many of the standard mesh panels on the midfoot with some premium hairy suede washed in a dark grey hue. This theme is maintained throughout the rest of the sneaker.
Lighter shades of grey make up the overlay panels by the toe box and the heel counter, which are also made up of soft suede that is slightly perforated to break up all the delicate elements of the sneakers.

A beautiful soft flat leather is used for the panel at the forefoot that makes up part of the eyelets and is the only smooth part of the sneakers besides the rubber that wraps around the heel.
This last part is a bit of a controversial choice. Still, an in-between shade of grey hairy suede makes up the bulk of the midsole, but you probably won’t be trapesing through the mud in these sneakers anyway.
Finally, the bulk of the outsole comprises the usual rubber in a marble-like grey, accompanied by ridges of darker grey on the sole and a bit of even darker grey made to look like carbon material. And don’t forget the sweet reflective LEBRON branding that can be found on the insole and the L J logo with the signature crown on the tongue label of the sneakers.

Release Date and Price
As mentioned, the release date for these sweet sneakers has been confirmed to be the 10th of May. The sneakers are set to release on the nike.com website and will be sold at select Nike retailers worldwide.
Another win for us, they are relatively affordable as far as Nike sneakers go, coming in at $190 (roughly R3450 based on the exchange rate, but as you know by now, prices here in South Africa tend to be a little lower, and not always tied to the exchange rate).
TL;DR

- The sneakers use shades of grey instead of mesh, like many of LeBron James’ signature sneakers.
- The sneakers will be available on the nike.com site on the 10th of May for $190.
