The cunning Decepticon Air Commander Starscream is back to his treacherous ways in the upcoming Transformers One movie, set to release this September. And while Starscream spreads chaos on the big screen, some sneaky excitement may be brewing in the custom sneaker world. Christian Mazorra of @conceptkickz has teased a special Starscream x Nike SB Dunk Low concept pair inspired by the characters signature colour scheme.
A Closer Look At The Sneaker
Mazorra has rolled out multiple designs inspired by the Transformers universe, but it’s his Starscream x Nike SB Dunk Low sneakers that have captivated Instagram audiences. And while Starscream himself might be shifty, selfish, and power-hungry, Mazorra’s conceptualisation of the character is pure sweet pleasure.
This pair features a red base with grey nubuck overlays, mirroring the dominant colours of the Decepticon’s second-in-command. There are also orange touches on the mesh tongues and blue highlights on the Swooshes.
But a particularly intriguing design feature we just have to mention is the asymmetrical lacing. The left shoe sports blue laces, while the right shoe features grey offering a stylish and balanced contrast.
Bringing the look together is a dark grey midsole paired with a blue rubber outsole. Final details include Transformers tongue tags and Decepticon logos on the ankle to bring the theme to life.

Unfortunately, these stunning Starscream shoes remain in the concept stage and aren’t available for purchase just yet. However, given Mazorra’s track record of bringing popular designs to life, there’s definitely still hope.
