Nike Air Force 1 Low “Valentine’s Day” 2023
The new 2023 version of the Nike Air Force 1 Low for Valentine’s Day features a different colourway than what we have seen in the past, with sail, pink, and red, unlike last year, which was mostly light pink with some red lettering. This year’s lace dubrae is a simple, pink heart shape with the Nike Swoosh logo set in, and the same heart adorns the heel, pressed into the leather.
A small heart dots the letter I on the midsole, spelling the AIR, matching the red outsole. The interior is a soft pink that matches the dubrae and the outer rim of the swoosh logos, while the insole is primarily white. Finally, of course, the holes on the sides are heart-shaped.
This year’s version is a little more embellished than last year’s Air Force 1 Low, with a particular highlight of heart-shaped cherries with a touch of green for the stem, dangling off the tail of the Swoosh logo on the outer upper of the shoe. The cherries and Swoosh logo are repeated on both the tongue label and the inner sole. To top it off, the outer upper swoosh has a miniature swoosh logo sitting inside the most significant part of the primary logo. The inner upper has a simple red swoosh with the same pink outer rim as the outer.
Annual Valentine’s Day Features
This year’s version is more embellished than previous years, although very tastefully done. Also, there is less writing than previously, especially on the lace dubrae. Still, this year’s simplicity is much nicer than the writing on the previous version. The lack of embossing on the Nike Swoosh is excellent, keeping it decaled but straightforward.
Unfortunately, no specific date has been set for this pair’s release, but for now, we can look forward to the Premium Goods Air Force 1, which has a release date set for the 20th.
