Who doesn’t like the idea of their nostalgic childhood shows becoming popular again, especially in the form of some epic sneakers? The Powerpuff Girls has been confirmed to be getting a reboot. Nike even commemorates the occasion with the perfect trio of sneakers, but what is a trio of heroes without their famous villain, Mojo Jojo?

Powerpuff Girls x Nike SB Dunk Low Pack

Reports from sneaker insiders like @dadeasskickz on Instagram suggest that Nike SB is collaborating with Cartoon Network on an epic trio pack to delight the child in all our hearts and bring back that feeling of nostalgia.
Neither Nike nor Cartoon Network has officially commented on the drop yet. Still, plenty of sneaker insiders have confirmed and shared the scoop, so all Nike and Powerpuff Girls fans can’t help but hope it’s true.
The pack is rumoured to be coming to us in three different colourways, each representing one of the iconic trio of Powerpuff Girls, pink for Blossom, blue for Bubbles, and green for Buttercup.

But what about Mojo Jojo?

What is a protagonist without an antagonist? Where would the Powerpuff Girls be if there wasn’t some kind of force of evil making their city need a group of young heroes? Enough of the philosophical questions; what I’m getting at is, what about Mojo Jojo?
So far, information about the Powerpuff Girls x Nike SB Dunk Low pack suggests that the girls are the only ones represented in the pack, but @pluggedinn.io on Instagram seems to know something we need to know.
Posted just yesterday, rumours are floating around that the collaboration won’t just be three sneakers but will include a colourway dedicated to the nuisance of Townsville himself.
The teased colourway features all of Mojo Jojo’s usual colours, starting with purple on the outsole, heel counter and panelling up to the lace stays, perfect for representing the underside of his cape and the purple markings on his helmet.
From there, the white of Mojo Jojo’s gloves can be seen on the midsole, the Nike SB Swoosh, and the sneakers’ laces.
The under-panelling, tongue and toe box of the sneakers match the bright green of his skin tone, which is broken up by bright blue panelling.
I wouldn’t blame you if you mistakenly thought these sneakers were for Buzz Lightyear instead of Mojo Jojo because they seem to like his colours (maybe save for the blue). Still, these are all Mojo Jojo, baby.

Release date
There has yet to be any complex information about a release date. Still, the trio of pairs (with an extra?) is rumoured to drop during the holiday season of 2023. This would be perfect timing for the reboot announced last year thanks to the original creator Craig McCracken who announced the reboot.
At the time of writing this, there also isn’t a solid idea of how much a pair (or a pack) of these sneakers will set you back, let alone the sizing that we can expect them to drop in, so we will have to sit tight until we hear more news.
Once the sneakers do finally launch, fans and sneakerheads alike will most likely be able to find them through their favourite Nike SB-affiliated skate shops or online through Nike.com.
