Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low “Phantom” Pays Homage To The Rapper’s Bandana

This take on the Travis Scott x Jordan 1 Low "Phantom" design subtly echoes the rapper's Bandana SB Dunks from 2020.

Travis Scott has had a string of memorable Nike and Jordan collaborations over the years. From his elusive Playstation x Nike Dunks to a seemingly endless stream of Air Jordan 1 Lows, yet each release has been met with enthusiastic demand from both fans and sneakerheads. But even with this impressive portfolio, you’ve probably heard of the “Phantom” Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Lows, which debuted in 2022. Its unique design and chic bandana-packaging details have made it a must-have collector’s item and inspired many custom designs, including this artistic take by Savoir-Faire Paris @savoir_faire_paris.

A Closer Look At The Sneaker

The custom design by Savoir-Faire Paris starts much the same as any Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 “Phantom.” The upper is enveloped in dark Black Nubuck, accentuated by stark white over stitching that provides an eye-catching contrast. The white touches extend to the branding, with the wings logo and beetle motif embroidered on the heel tabs, while the brand’s own logo features on the tongues.

However, the iconic bandana print fabric you would usually find packaged with the shoe has been given a stylish twist and now adorns the shoe’s toe box and quarter panels. This subtle tweak adds ample character to the sneaker’s overall look. The result is a pair that’s mildly reminiscent of the rapper’s Bandana SB Dunks from 2020 but with the refined appearance of the “Phantom” AJ1.

Is The Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 “Phantom” Available For Purchase?

But if you’re hoping to get your hands on this exact pair, you’ll be disappointed to know that most of Savoir-Faire Paris’ custom creations are one-of-one designs. However, you can always have your own pair commissioned by simply reaching out to the brand.

Their customisation prices typically start at €1,200 (approximately $1,300.18 USD) but vary depending on the complexity of the design and/or materials used. Thankfully, they offer a flexible payment option to make owning a unique pair like this a little bit more manageable on your wallet.

And if you still need more convincing, check out more Savoir-Faire Paris designs. Explore the plush Air Jordan 3 “Purple Rain”, the canary-esque Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low “UCLA”custom, or their take on the Travis Scott and Fragment AJ1 Highs from 2021.
