Fresh off the launch of their Made for the Makers campaign, Vans is stepping out with an all-new silhouette, presenting a signature pro model from Sydney’s finest skateboarder, Chima Ferguson – launching the Vans Chima Pro 2.
Too strong for just any one type of skating, the enhanced Chima Pro 2 skate shoe features Vans’ premier UltraCush Lite 3D technology, a versatile combination of lightweight cushioning and support. The new silhouette features Duracap fused upper reinforcements, Vans Pro Lite Construction with evolved foxing tape for added flex and durability, and Vans’ new UltraCush Lite 3D footbed. The Chima Pro 2 is designed to withstand the heaviest of impact situations, blending the lightweight and responsive feel of the UltraCush with a dual-density foam surrounded by a moulded heel cup. The sneaker delivers unsurpassed cushioning, boardfeel, and support for all the various types of skateboarding, from ledges, banks, ramps and pools, to curbs, rails and skateparks. It’s also for the slappies, frontside flips, grinds, huge airs—no matter where you ride, now you can skate like Chima. Wherever you choose to skateboard, the Chima Pro 2 has you covered.
In addition to the launch of the new Chima Pro 2 footwear, the launch will be supported by a signature line of Chima Ferguson apparel and accessories influenced by the Sydney native’s clean, sports style. The collection includes a range of Chima’s favourite shirt style, the polo, along with long sleeves, t-shirts and hats. Each piece in the collection is branded with a “V” for Vans, along with Chima’s signature collection logos. The Vans Chima Pro 2 and apparel will be available worldwide from 10 February 2018.
