Vans has dropped a number of new sneakers, reworking their classic silhouettes from the archives with a new design. These redesigns often fuse styles or collaborations with partners, most of which have been a great success. This season, Vans takes one of its time-honoured sneakers, the Era, and fuses the design with different layers, including an exaggerated outsole using platform bumpers. Enter the Vans Stacked Collection.
Elevating the Era with oversized designs, the Stacked silhouette features a mix of platform and skate shoes, breathing new life into its heritage models. The outsole has a translucent foxing tape, creating its own variant of the oversized sneaker trending today.
The Era is the classic skate shoe, with the Stacked range including two new colourways with mixed canvas uppers. Each of the models features a platform upper, an oversized heel bumper that lies beneath a translucent outsole and a stacked hum bumper at the toe. The first silhouette, the Era Stacked, features a white upper and checkered heel.
The second shoe features a dual-tone purple and black upper, which is finished with a pink and translucent sea great outsole. In addition to this, it also has a confetti bumper, which gives it its name, Era Confetti. Both silhouettes include the classic Vans Wafflesaw, a modern expression of the brand’s vulcanized outsole.
The Vans Stacked Collection is already available in stores across the country.
