Having ended the year with a collaboration with Spitfire, Vans has started the year off fresh with another classics collection. The company has announced the global release of their new line, Made for the Makers collection. The drop celebrates the everyday creatives and their diverse creative pursuits ranging from art, music, action sports as well as street culture.
The new collection has been meticulously designed and classically engineered to handle whatever you throw at it, tackling all your tough jobs, and made specifically for the creative communities that embody them. Vans has you, the artist, surfboard shaper, barber, Illustrator, tattoo artist or chef at the heart of the design, built to maximise comfort so that the makers and creators can do what they love all day, every day, without sacrificing their personal styles and quality.
The collection features a sleek, all-black variants of the classic and beloved Vans silhouettes. The reimaginging includes the Sk8-Hi Reissue UC, Old Skool UC, Authentic UC and Classic Slip-On UC. In addition to the new take on the colourway, the style is complimented by the outsole for increased traction, the Vansguard canvas uppers to repel liquid and dirt, allowing you to move around freely without too much fuss. The design is completed with a contoured, drop-in UltraCush sockliner for additional comfort.
The Made for the Makers collection will be available at Vans Retail stores across the country, as well as selected Vans retailers starting this January.
