Prepare to upgrade your sneakers with Vans and Tiger Patchwork. Remastering the Sk8-Hi, Era and Classic Slip-On with a splash of colour, patteren and mixed materialisation, these new designs offer innovative geometric patterns and visual motifs.

Vans has been on a roll lately with its collaborations and launch of new lines. However, the Tiger Patchwork is possibly one of the boldest and in-your-face aesthetics while remaining true to the essence and core of the brand.

“The Tiger Patchwork pack pays homage to our iconic checkerboard pattern and the DIY movement with bold colours and materials,” Vans announced on its official Instagram page.

From gingham to checkerboard, the upper part of these fresh kicks features a combination of fashionable and eye-catching prints in a pattern-clashing patchwork design. Interestingly, each silhouette also consists of a complementary colourway, but since the sizing and pattern placement differs, each design ends up being unique.

Naturally, the Sk8-Hi is the one that most sneakerheads will have their eye on. The classic lace-up high top receives an epic new version of patchwork, which is all mixed together by the ever-present Sidestripe, metal eyelets and padded collar.

Of course, for those who prefer Era or Classic Slip-Ons, you’ll notice more pronounced mosaics with visible overlays, allowing for a more expressive aesthetic. Whichever you pick, there’s no doubt that your friends will be asking you where you got your brand-new sneakers.

The Vans Tiger Patchwork line drops at all Vans retail stores and selected retailers from 14 August 2020.
