The SoleSavy 1 v2 “Disappearing City”
The first thing you will notice about the SoleSavy 1 v2 “Disappearing City” sneakers is that they are based on the Air Jordan 1 silhouette. Featuring the general shape, branding, and sole of a “loaner” Air Jordan 1, as the folks at SoleSavy describe it, these sneakers are essentially a custom pair of Air Jordan 1 sneakers that they have altered with a new and gorgeous design.
The upper features premium, buttery-smooth leather and many different shades of muted suede, including bright red, burnt orange, muted mustard yellow, and two different shades of dark forest green and brown.
These colours alternate on all of the overlays and elements of the sneakers. At the same time, a bit of zig-zag stitch had been added to bridge the gap between the suede and the leather on the ankle.
The sneakers are cobranded with both Nike’s Air Jordan and SoleSavy’s branding, with elements of both shining through on the sneakers. The Air Jordan wings logo appears on the ankle. In contrast, the SoleSavy logo (over the Swoosh) takes over the tongue with a premium suede tongue tag, a spot on the heel, and the insole of the sneakers.
The sneakers were designed as part of The SoleSavy bespoke sneaker program, which states that it brings the creative ideas of those at SoleSavy, as well as the many members of their online community, to life in a handmade pair of sneakers, locally produced at Garrixon Studios in Philadelphia.

SoleSavy is well-known for its love for sneakers, so it’s wonderful to see enthusiasts like them not only redesign a glorious pair of sneakers but also create their own masterpieces.
With their own enthusiasm and integrity, consumers can rest assured that they would never put their name on something half-baked or lacking in quality, so a certain amount of assurance comes with their reputation.
That being said, the colourway they came up with and the different textiles they sourced for this project are just stunning. Having a gorgeous pair of sneakers under your belt is a true testament to your style. This colourway speaks to everyone with its choice of popping and muted colours. It is an excellent pair for those looking for a little extra pizzazz in their collection and wanting something special.
Where to buy them
These gorgeous sneakers were first introduced in February of this year in a post by SoleSavy explaining the significance and inspiration behind them. While they were initially only available for members who preordered them, they later introduced additional sizing options. Luckily for all the fans who fell in love with these sneakers, they are currently having a brief restock.
