Since the adidas Yeezy Boost 750 sneakers launched in February 2015, the collaboration between adidas and Kanye West has resulted in the release of hundreds of styles across more than a dozen different silhouettes. Many Yeezy drops occurred in the first ten months of 2022, but planned releases for the holiday season were cancelled on October 25th due to adidas terminating its partnership with Ye. In response, retailers worldwide were instructed to cease the sale of all adidas Yeezy products as the company assessed its options with the items since it could no longer use the branding.

However, in late November, adidas’ Chief Financial Officer confirmed that the company owned the intellectual property rights to all of the imprint’s most popular designs, including the Boost 350 v2 and Boost 700.

Kanye West reportedly visited Skechers shortly after the termination of his partnership with the Three Stripes, fueling speculation that the DONDA founder was searching for a new home for his venture. If Ye does find a new creative outlet, which may involve updates to the Yeezy Foam Runner and Yeezy Slide, you can expect those releases to be announced in the future.
