After hitting its big 4-0 milestone this year, Jordan Brand is entering its “dad shoe” era with a chunky Air Jordan Lor model.
A Closer Look At The Sneaker
Jordan Brand has not officially unveiled the shoe, but sneaker account @kicksdong has offered an early peek at the new design in its “Cave Stone” colourway.
These images showcase a sneaker constructed from a blend of mesh and suede on the upper done in tonal grey hues for this particular colourway. But the shoe’s thick ribbed TPU midsole design, which continues up the shoe’s profile and merges with the eyelets, is without a doubt its most noteworthy aesthetic element. From there, the TPU cage, lacing tabs, and outsole all bear either the Jumpman or “Jordan” branding.
All things considered, the new Jordan Lor model clearly draws inspiration from the brand’s previous Trunner design. It even feels like a throwback to old Team Jordan models with a touch of New Balance flavour thrown into the mix. But will this new sneaker be able to compete with other popular running shoes on the market? We’ll have to wait for Jordan Brand to confirm the technical specifications before we can make a final judgement, but they’ve certainly got the look down.
Air Jordan Lor “Cave Stone” Release Details
This upcoming Jordan sneaker will be available in the “Cave Stone” hue in Fall 2025, around August, to be precise. The shoe will retail for $110 USD on Nike.com and at select Jordan stores.
Other Jordan sneakers to look forward to in the months to come include the Joker-inspired Air Jordan 3 “Vivid Purple,” the Air Jordan 4 WMNS “Seafoam” featuring tonal mint uppers, and the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Varsity Red” with its eye-catching cracked leather design.
