Just when we thought we had our 2025 sneaker purchases sorted, Jordan Brand adds another big release to their lineup! Sneakerheads can anticipate the release of the Air Jordan 12 “Taxi” (yes, the original colourway, not a reimagined one) late next year.
A Closer Look At The Sneaker
This timeless colour combination is well-known to OG sneakerheads thanks to its time on Michael Jordan’s feet during the 1996–1997 NBA season. However, even without this nostalgic appeal, the Air Jordan 12 “Taxi” colourway is among the most stylish and versatile out there.
The style includes a sleek white leather upper with black details on the heel, outsole, and mudguard. But these beauties get their name from the distinctive yellow accents on the carbon fibre shank plate and heel tabs, as well as the gold lace eyelets.
To balance the striking “23” jersey number on the heel, the Jumpman logo is displayed in red on the heel tabs and again on the outsole. Finally, a black Jumpman logo on the tongue completes the ensemble.
Air Jordan 12 “Taxi” Release Details
Come Fall/Winter 2025; this nostalgic drop will be offered in full family sizing. Sneakerheads can purchase their pair for a suggested retail price of $215 USD in men’s sizes on Nike.com and at a few other retailers.
