Update September 17, 2025: First-look images of the Infinite Archives Jordan 17 collab have finally surfaced, and the pair was definitely worth the wait. The design offers neutral beige uppers with a black inner bootie and matching perforated leather eyestays. Pops of colour are then added to the protective sticker, covering the shoes’ chrome heel cap as well as the outsole. The colours on the outsole represent OG Jordan 17 colourways, as well as the fan favourite Mike Bibby PE. The sneaker will be released in October 2025, so keep an eye out on the Infinite Archives site for updates and check out the image below.

Original Article: 2024 has been a banner year for the Air Jordan 17 model. Fans of the Jazz-inspired silhouette are celebrating the first-ever retro treatments of the famed “Lightning” and “UNC” colourways, though we’re still holding out hope for the rumoured “Varsity Red” edition to return later this year. But it looks like 2024 may only mark the start of a new era for the Air Jordan 17, as a new collaboration with INFINITE ARCHIVES is rumoured for 2025.

Who Is INFINITE ARCHIVES?

In case you are unfamiliar, INFINITE ARCHIVES is a multifaceted brand that was “created to archive and mark the passage of time” through distinctive apparel and artwork. Fragment, KAWS, and Union LA are just a few of the Jordan Brand partners they have worked with since their founding back in 2015. Their unique approach to design and storytelling has earned them a loyal following in the streetwear communities, so it’s safe to say there are big expectations for the upcoming AJ 17 design.

A Closer Look At The Sneaker

While the exact colour blocking and materials for the collaboration remain unknown, the sneaker insiders at Sneaker Files have revealed the colour codes for not one but two new AJ 17 designs. The first pair reportedly has a “Beach/Metallic Silver/Black” palette, while the second has a “Beach/Metallic Copper/Black” combination.

The theme of these kicks is yet to be revealed, but given the muted and earthy tones of the colourways, it’s safe to assume that they will turn out exquisite, especially if the mockup images below are any indication.

INFINITE ARCHIVES x Air Jordan 17 Low Release Details

At the moment, neither Jordan Brand nor Infinite Archives have confirmed the AJ17 collaboration. But according to rumours, the design will be available in the fall of 2025 through Nike SNKRS and a few other retailers. If the model’s signature carrying case is included, you can anticipate pairs to sell for around $300 USD.

Until then, there are plenty more Jordan releases on the horizon, including a Bruce Lee-inspired Air Jordan 4 RM, a new Air Jordan 6 Doernbecher, and maybe even a new “Hand Wash Cold”-themed Air Jordan 3 by A Ma Maniére.
