ReverseLand and Dariyn Enriquez of @dope_don_designs have teamed up to create a Nike SB Dunk Low pair that is sure to be a dream come true for any sneaker enthusiast who is a fan of James P. “Sulley” Sullivan of Monsters Inc. fame. The custom design showcases an attention-grabbing furry blue and purple upper, which may bring to mind an earlier collaboration from adidas.

The adidas Stan Smith “Mike & Sulley Monsters Inc.”

Let’s face it; fun collaborations are adidas’s territory. They’ve had official team-ups with some of the most popular franchises, like Star Wars, The Grinch, and The Simpsons, as well as a recent collaboration with Deadpool & Wolverine, among others. But back in 2021, Monsters Inc.’s heroes Mike and Sulley took over the brand’s Stan Smith model to create a fluffy blue, purple, and lime design that was a hit among sneakerheads. Still, we believe the Nike SB Dunk Low “Sulley” customs take the inspiration to the next level.

A Closer Look At The Monsters Inc. x Nike SB Dunk Low “Sulley”

For this custom creation, ReverseLand and Enriquez have honed in solely on the giant, hairy blue and purple monster. They’ve wrapped the upper in a fluffy two-toned fabric that perfectly mirrors Sulley’s iconic spotted look.

Adding to the design, blue nubuck accents adorn the tongue and overlays, complemented by brown details on the Swooshes and inner lining. But to make it even more epic, they’ve added embroidered eyes on the heel to nod to Nike SB’s own Powerpuff Girls collaboration from last year (2023).

Completing the pair is a white midsole, a blue rubber outsole, and a set of crisp white laces. So, while the furry exterior may remind you of 2021 adidas Monsters Inc. collaboration, the meticulous details in these “Sulley” customs certainly set this pair in a league of their own.

Where to get the Monsters Inc. x Nike SB Dunk Low “Sulley”

If you are keen to get your hands on this custom pair, you can commission one for a limited period via ReverseLand’s official website. These furry beauties are priced at $900 USD, but fortunately, the site offers a payment plan option.

Meanwhile, you can explore other unique custom designs inspired by popular franchises right here on our site. Whether it’s “Cobra Kai” Air Jordan 1s, Mortal Kombat Nike Dunk Lows, or even “Godzilla” inspired Nike SBs, there’s something for every pop culture enthusiast.
