Following closely on the heels of Nigel Sylvester’s “Pro Green” 4 RM collaboration with Jordan Brand, the BMX superstar has teased the release of yet another version of the revamped silhouette—a sleek variant starring hues of “Anthracite” aptly named the “Driveway Grey.”
A Closer Look At The Sneaker
This fresh take on Sylvester’s collaboration pays homage to the beginnings of his biking passion with a blend of “Anthracite,” “University Red,” and “White”. The colour scheme is a tribute to Nigel’s grandmother’s driveway, the very place where he first fell in love with biking. Hence, expect to see the upper and TPU cage drenched in “Anthracite Grey,”mirroring the cement of his grandmother’s driveway.
Pops of “University Red” then bring life to the miniature Swoosh logo at the forefoot and the insoles, with the colour also peeking through the visible Air unit in the heel.
Finishing touches include the “Bike Air” branding on the heel and the rear portion of the midsole, highlighted in crisp “White,” while the rest of the sole unit is rendered in the dark grey hue once more.
Although this colourway might not stand out as much as its “Pro Green” counterpart, the subtle details and continued narrative make this design equally engaging for those who prefer an understated look. It’s certainly a release to keep an eye out for when they drop next month.
