Since back in the ’80s, Nike’s black Air Force 1 Low kicks have been a staple of sneaker culture, and it’s safe to assume that the colourway isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. Sure, the style may have picked up some unfavourable connotations over the last few years, but even with the unfounded rep it still sells like hotcakes. And with the Swoosh always introducing subtle variations in materials and finishes, like the light-absorbing “Vanta Black” pair that was released in December of last year, there’s always something new and fresh to keep fans coming back for more. So, what’s the next move for the classic Air Force 1 Low colourway? A sleek “Black Satin” Nike Air Force 1 Low for the female market.

A Closer Look At The Sneaker

While the name pretty much says it all, sneakerheads can expect this new version of the AF1 Low to include a sleek black satin material across almost all of the upper. The only exception is the eyestays, which are done in the more standard matte black leather.

Another beautiful departure from tradition comes from delicate pink ribbon laces constructed of silk to match the shoe’s elegant and luxurious appearance. The touches of pastel pink are then carried over to the Nike branding on the heel, insole, and tongue.

Finally, the design concludes with the colourway’s iconic black sole unit because some things are better left unchanged.

Nike Air Force 1 Low WMNS “Black Satin” Release Details

If you’re looking to replace the everyday black AF1 with this special satin-covered pair, keep an eye out for its arrival in women’s sizes sometime in Spring 2025. You can purchase a pair through Nike.com and select stores, but retail prices have yet to be announced.

Other Nike sneakers to look out for in the coming months include .SWOOSH’s Nike Air Max 1 “Big Head Origins,” the Nike GT Future, and the Nike Air Diamond Turf’ Falcons’. But, until then, stay tuned to Sneaker Fortress for more sneaker drops and news.
