Nike Lunar Roam “Alabaster/Green Abyss” Is Selling Fast

In 2008, Nike sought a new solution for runners worldwide to create light foam support that was like walking on a cloud and perfect for marathon performance. Success came in the form of their cutting-edge Lunarlon Foam. Fast-forward to now, and Nike has just released its stunning Nike Lunar Roam line, the perfect lightweight running sneaker for you, starting with their “Alabaster/Green Abyss” colourway.

Taking the pillowy soft foam tooling of the outsole and incorporating it into a contemporary style that is perfect for the modern woman in 2024, Nike has created a perfect pair of running sneakers that is breezy, lightweight, stylish, and keeping up with the current fashion craze of being inspired by the early 2000s aesthetic.

Introducing the Nike Lunar Roam “Alabaster/Green Abyss” sneakers. These beautiful sneakers are balanced underfoot by a black layer for their outsole before quickly transitioning to the Lunarlon midsole, which dominates a full third of the sneaker. Appearing in a stunning, vibrant “Lemon Drop” shade that transitions to “Satin Gold” at the heel and features parallel serrations to give the chunky foam some shape, these sneakers are perfect for any runner wanting to make a statement with their fit.

The upper itself is almost entirely made of engineered mesh to help with breathability and the structure of the sneakers, with places that have added support for durability, forming a kind of overlay. Most of the engineered mesh is “Alabaster”, where the sneakers get their name from.

Sections of the sneaker have been included with enhanced breathability and structural integrity at the mid-foot and heel in a “Green Abyss” shade that perfectly grounds the otherwise bright sneaker. These structural points have Jet-Black lines that complement the outsole and profile Swooshes and even creep up the spine of the sneakers to form the heel tab.

Sections of TPU have been added at the forefoot in a dark grey to form the mudguard. This shade isn’t just there to complement the otherwise light aesthetic of the sneakers. Still, it adds durability to the sneakers, keeping you comfortable and well in place. At the same time, you run atop these foamy cushion supports that will make you feel like you are walking on the moon. Don’t just take my word for it. It’s in the name.

The mesh tongue, inner lining, and collar area all match the “Alabaster” of the engineered mesh upper and hardware elements like the laces and the eyestays. The tongue itself features a foamy texture that is slightly darker than the rest of the tongue, as well as “Green Abyss” decorative stitching. Marketed for lifestyle and running within the city, these sneakers are perfect for keeping track of your new-year resolutions.
