Back in 2019, a “Canary Yellow” iteration of Off-White’s Air Jordan 1 collab made its first appearance in the sneaker community, with whispers pointing to a 2020 release for the vibrant pair. We all know, however, that the colourway never saw the light of day, leaving many of us sneaker enthusiasts in a sense of longing ever since. But come 2025; things are set to change with exciting rumours pointing to a Holiday release of this coveted gem.
A Closer Look At The Sneaker
According to @EldenMonitors, @houseofheat, and @FitDadAK, the coveted Air Jordan 1 High OG “Canary Yellow” is set to fulfil sneakerheads’ dreams in 2025. This release will join a roster of eagerly awaited retros, all in celebration of the 40th anniversary of Jordan Brand and its pioneering model.
This eye-catching colourway showcases a blend of “White” on the base and “Canary Yellow” on the toe, eyestays, and heel, all while maintaining Off-White’s distinct design language.
Expect to see all the hallmark Abloh touches, like exposed foam collars, deconstructed side Swooshes, and the noticeable zip tie dangling from the laces.
The look is completed with a white midsole and yellow rubber outsole featuring the famous “AIR” text on the heel. And let’s not forget the final touch: Helvetica text stamped onto the medial side, sealing the Off-White identity.
This release is certainly on every sneakerhead’s radar and will likely be one of the most hyped pairs in next year’s lineup—assuming it finally hits the shelves this time around.
