There are almost innumerable stunning Air Jordan 1 Low colourways that are easy to fall in love with. As one of the most customisable sneaker silhouettes out there, besides the Nike Dunk Low line, it’s easy to see why we keep returning to it for custom sneakers. If you love Brogue-style Nike sneakers or stunning customs like these Air Jordan 1 “Lux” Rubberized Python, this custom concept for the “Brogue Python” Air Jordan 1 Low might suit you (excuse the pun).

The Brogue Style

If you haven’t heard of this style or are still unsure, “Brogue” is usually used to describe Nike’s sneakers, which are gorgeously constructed from premium leather and take on a more sophisticated appearance.

Think of Nike sneakers that you wouldn’t mind wearing with a pin-stripe suit or dressing up for a more formal occasion, and Nike has you covered with a stunning pair of Brogue sneakers.

“Brogue Python” Air Jordan 1 Lows

Brogue-Python-Air-Jordan-1-Low-Sneakers

As many Brogue sneakers do, this pair of Air Jordan 1 Low combines many different textures and shades of leather to create a stunning look, including dark tumbled leather, brown faux python skin leather, light brown smooth leather, and Sail tumbled leather in its construction.

Starting from the bottom, the rubber outsole is the only instance of black on the otherwise warm and almost chocolatey pair of sneakers, complemented perfectly by a white midsole. Thanks to the decorative stitching around the perimeter, the midsole already introduces brighter shades of brown.

The base of the sneakers is puffy, smooth, light brown leather, making up elements like the perforated toe box, making its way up the tongue, and flowing into the area surrounding the collar. From there, the sneaker shifts to a lighter element, incorporating Sail-coloured tumbled leather on the quarter of the sneakers.

From there, the overlays of the sneaker quickly move into where the sneakers get their name from: the beautifully stained python-style leather that makes up the mudguard, the lower lace stays, and the heel counter.

Finally, These sneakers include darker leather on the lace unit, the Nike Swoosh and the heel tab, with elements throughout the sneakers like the tongue label, the laces, and the mesh lining following suit in colour but not texture.

These stunning sneakers would be ideally suited to helping you dress up any fit and make it more sophisticated if they were an authentic pair.

Custom Concept

As mentioned in the introduction, these sneakers are, unfortunately, a custom concept, meaning that they weren’t designed by Nike but by us here at Sneaker Fortress. This also means that there isn’t a physical pair out there that you can get your hands on.

That being said, the world of custom sneakers is vast, and if you can’t get the thought of these fully leather custom Air Jordan 1 “Brogue Python” sneakers out of your mind, there is a high likelihood that you could commission your own pair, or find a custom artist who has already gone to lengths to make a physical pair.

We can turn our customs into a real pair someday. Until then, enjoy these stunning images and the hunt for your own pair of beautiful leather sneakers.

Would you wear these “Brogue Python” Air Jordan 1 Low sneakers if they were real?
