The Air Jordan 1 High OG Rare Air "Cinnabar" Unveiled

Jordan Brand is preparing to unveil an Air Jordan 1 High OG "Cinnabar" as part of its Rare Air collection.

Jordan Brand is readying another Rare Air masterpiece for release next year, and with 2025 commemorating the 40th anniversary of the Air Jordan 1, it seems a fitting moment to unveil a special edition like the upcoming “Cinnabar” colourway.

A Closer Look At The Sneaker

Like the other Rare Air designs slated for next year’s release, no official images of the “Cinnabar” colourway have been unveiled yet. However, this hasn’t deterred sneaker insiders from creating speculative mockups based on the confirmed Sail/Cinnabar-Light Bone palette.

The design is anticipated to feature premium leather in a mix of Sail and Light Bone hues, with Cinnabar accents highlighting various parts of the shoe, specifically the Swoosh, branding details and laces.

Yet the “rare” feature of this pair remains a mystery. Sneakerheads will have to wait and see if it is flipped branding, a Velcro tongue patch, or something entirely unexpected.

Air Jordan 1 High OG Rare Air “Cinnabar” Release Details

For now, expect this Rare Air edition of the Air Jordan 1 High OG to be available for purchase from Nike.com and select Jordan Brand retailers on January 18, 2025. The sneaker will be offered in women’s sizes, with a retail price of $180 USD.

Additionally, sneakerheads can look forward to a few other “Rare Air” releases next year, including the confirmed Air Jordan 3 and Air Jordan 4 pairs. This also adds to a lineup of other highly anticipated AJ1 drops, such as collaborations with Swarovski, Union, and the return of the coveted “Shattered Backboard” colourway.
